SERVICES – 10:00 am Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Ronnie Shoffner, officiating.
INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Altman was born May 24, 1930 in Lubbock County to Sally Paralee and Nathan William Altman, Sr. He married Jackie Marie McCallum on December 30, 1950 in Memphis. He had been a resident of Memphis most of his life where he was a farmer. He worked hard and loved farming.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; a grandson; and a great grandson.
SURVIVORS – his wife, Jackie Altman of Memphis; 4 sons, Stanley Altman of Vernon, Stevie Altman of Memphis, Timmy Altman of Childress, and Terry Altman of Memphis; 2 daughters, Connie Murdock and Sandy McAllister both of Memphis; 5 sisters, Ruth McCallum of Arlington, Joyce Altman and Dorothy Altman both of Lovington, NM, Gladys Willingham of Anton, and Linda Murphy of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to American Heart Association, Fairview Cemetery Association, or Memphis Meals on Wheels.
