Nancy R. Garza's Obituary
Nancy R. Garza, 76, of Shamrock died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 29, 2021 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Tony Sotelo, officiating.
Viewing will be held Thursday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Nancy was born July 21, 1945 in Mexico to Jesus and Paulina Garza Ruiz. She had been a resident of Shamrock for 50 years. She loved yard work, gardening, flowers, crocheting, and the outdoors. She was a great cook and enjoyed making big meals. Nancy could fix about anything. She had a big heart and loved her kids, grandkids, and her family. She was a Christian who loved her God and loved talking about the Bible. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, David Del Bosque; a brother, Lalo Ruiz; her sisters, Anna Contreras, Yola Garza, and Mary Garza; and her grandson, Dustin Castillo.
Survivors include her son, Andrew Garza of Shamrock; her daughters, Ersilia Doss of Shamrock, Linda Porter of Wellington, Mary Ann Garza, Isabel Garza, and Paulina Garza all of Shamrock; her brothers, Lupe Ruiz of Shamrock and Eloy Garcia of Corpus Christi; her sister, Elva Guajardo of Wellington; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
