SERVICES – Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Memphis with David McDougle officiating.
INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis

VISITATION - will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
BIOGRAPHY- Monty Eugene Rowland was born on September 21, 1952 in Memphis to R.B. Rowland and Maryles Moore. He married Pamela Haire on November 6, 1976 in Hurst, Texas. He was a life time resident of Hall County. He served in the United States Army and as a Sergeant of Arms in the American Legion. He worked for TX Dot until his retirement and was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather.
SURVIVORS – his wife; his mother Maryles Taylor; a son, Monty Rowland Jr. and wife Kari of Crowley, Tx; a daughter, Laressa Rowland of Memphis; 4 brothers, Ronnie Rowland of Grand Prairie, Tx, Bill Ruthart of Paris, Tx, Bobby Rowland of Forth Worth, and Billy Rowland of Mansfield; and 5 grandchildren, Cody Duran, Noah Lopez, Paxton Rowland, Mason Rowland, and Olivia Rowland
PRECEDED – father and 1 brother Ricky Rowland
MEMORIALS – in lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to American Legion in Memphis and Meals on Wheels in Memphis.
