GRAVESIDE SERVICES – 11:00 AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Rev. Mark Howard, officiating.
INTERMENT – Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Milton was born October 21, 1922 in Twitty to Dick and Thelma Gierhart. He married Mildred Henderson on September 26, 1947 in Shamrock. He was a farmer/rancher prior to his retirement. Milton served was chairman for the St. Patrick’s Day Association 2 or 3 times and ran the carnival. He was a past member of the Shamrock Rotary Club and a member of the First Baptist Church in Shamrock.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; and his sister, Inez Gierhart.
SURVIVORS – his wife, Mildred Gierhart of Lubbock; a son, Mel Gierhart and wife Nancy of Levelland; 2 grandchildren, Matt Gierhart and wife Olivia, and Robin Gierhart Morrison and husband Malcolm; a great grandchild, Harper Gierhart; and many nieces and nephews.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to Hospice of Lubbock – Carillon Foundation or the First Baptist Church in Shamrock.
