He was 92 years young. He had many different roles and titles during his life-time and played each role in each of our lives to the very fullest. He never met a stranger and he always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he met and if you had a few minutes he would tell you a good story or joke. He leaves behind the legacy of a strong Christian example and man for his family.
Milton graduated from Memphis High School in 1947 and went straight to work farming with his dad, Mitt. He met and married Mary Sue Foreman May 27, 1952. They had 3 children, S.A Beasley, Mary Alice Beasley Adams and Billy Don Beasley. They were married 44 years when Mary Sue passed away on August 3, 1996. He met and married Thelma Louise Isbell-Gafford. on February 26, 2000. The Beasley Family gained another loving mother and 2 more siblings, Chad Isbell and Holly Gafford Neill. Milton and Thelma also lived a life full of love and adventure, going on several trips and excursions around the county.
Milton enjoyed teaching and calling square dancing as much as he did farming, raising his family and a rousing game of 42. He taught Sunday School at the First Christian Church where he and Mary Sue raised their family. He also served the community of Memphis and Hall County for different organizations including Hall County 4-H, the Hall County Livestock Association and the Memphis Lion’s Club.
