Michelle Selby's Obituary
Michelle Selby was born November 24th, 1976 and departed this life on September 8th, 2021 at the age of 44 Years, 10 months, and 16 days in Amarillo, Texas. She was the youngest child of Jimmy Selby and Laura Fern (Wells) Selby. She grew up and attended school in Mobeetie Texas and was a member of one of the first graduating classes of Fort Elliott Consolidated School District. Michelle made her career working for the city of Amarillo for the past 22 Years.
If you knew Michelle you loved her. She was the living definition of selflessness. She devoted her life to care for her friends and family which is evident by the memories that have been shared in the preceding days.
She was the epitome of a rockstar aunt, rarely missing a birthday party, soccer game, or whatever activity her nieces and nephews were involved in. She was always the one taking pictures at family gatherings and would light up every room she entered.
Even at the end of her earthly life she was caring for those around her. Michelle had a servants heart and we know she is reunited today with her earthly father while rejoicing in the arms of Jesus.
Michelle was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Elmer and Evelyn Wells, paternal grandparents Jim and Mollie Selby, father Jimmy Selby, sister Martha Eileen Selby, and brother-in-law Mark Frankenberry.
