SERVICES – 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the Red Marble Ministries Church in Memphis with Rev. Dale Miller and Jackie Blum, officiating. INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mike was born August 4, 1955 in Crowell to Thomas Harrold and Geneva Lois Franklin and was raised in Crowell. He had been a resident of Memphis since 1976 where he worked for TX DOT for 8 years and the telephone company for 28 years prior to his retirement. He was a good friend and if you needed him he was there. His life was centered around the telephone company. He was a member of the Red Marble Ministries Church in Memphis. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents. SURVIVORS – a daughter, Mary Ann Deatherage and fiance Melvin Mason of Levelland; a brother, Thomas Harrold Franklin, II of Oklahoma; a sister, Irene Lanette Neel of Lewisville; 2 grandchildren, Logan Earl Deatherage and Kaden Wayne “Tater” Deatherage; his wife of 24 years and mother of Mary Ann, Mary Lee Tucker of Newlin; and a special friend, Kathy Shipman of Estelline.
