Mike was a lover of all animals, especially his border collie Bandit! He loved riding anything with 2 wheels, traveling, and working on anything "he thought" needed to be fixed. Mike was the type of person who loved last minute adventures, whether it was taking off to go see something "different" or going to 3 states away to pick up a car he bought on Facebook. He also thought he was very funny even if no one else did! Laughing at his own jokes before he told them. He worked very hard his entire life to take care of his family, but was very passionate about becoming a self made millionaire. Buying a building downtown Hedley to turn into a pizza joint, then a grocery store, don' forget the back wall was coming down and garage doors put up for his motorcycle mechanic shop. There was not a day that in Hedley, Texas you wouldn't see him in one of his many vehicles driving around, especially his convertible top Dodge with 5 border collies hanging off every direction.
He loved chocolate ice cream, and feeding sugar to the grandkids at only the appropriate times. He had many friends from coast to coast whom he talked about often. He made a huge impact on many people and he will be deeply missed.
Mike is survived by 4 children, Kristen Archer and husband James of Gurnee, IL, Lauren Glover of Hedley, Lindsey Railsback and husband Devin of McLean, and Michael Glover of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Paeton, Harper, and River; the love of his life, Nikki Glover; his parents, Ronald and JoAnn Glover of Hedley; 2 sisters, Cheryl Welch and Carol Glover; 2 brothers, Mark Glover and Matthew Glover; uncles, aunts, and many nieces and nephews.
