Michael Dylan Alexander's Obituary
Michael Dylan Alexander, 27, of Memphis, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida.
A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 at 3:30 pm at Memphis Church of Christ with Mark Lance and Tom Anderson, Officiating.
Michael was born June 26, 1997 in Aurora, Colorado to William and Brenda Alexander. He graduated for Memphis High School in 2016 and attended vocational school at Clarendon College. He worked contract outdoor maintenance for Memphis ISD and during peanut harvesting season he was a peanut/grader for Texas Cooperative Inspection,
Michael was a member of the Memphis Church of Christ. In high school, Michael played football, basketball, baseball, ran track and was an officer of FFA. He had many accolades as an athlete. He was named Padilla "All State" Linebacker for 2A and 3A, MVP Defense player, Globe News Super Team Defense, AGN All-State Linebacker, Associated Press All State Linebacker, and "Old Coach" All State Linebacker to name a few. He was very focused and competitive that allowed him to be an outstanding athlete.
He loved his truck and modifying it with pipes, light bars, and lifters. Michael loved the Denver Broncos and the Denver Nuggets. He especially loved his dog, Tyke. Michael had a special ability making everyone laugh and his laugh was contagious.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, A.G. and Billie Alexander, great grandparents, Woodrow and Eunice Floyd, aunt Janice Alexander, great aunt Pat Floyd, and great uncles Dwaine Floyd and Dean Butcher.
He is survived by his father and mother, William and Brenda Alexander, brothers Kevin Alexander and Andrew Alexander and fiancé April Atilano, his special friend, Mariena Morrow and his dog, Tyke. Grandparents, Connie and Carolyn Davis all of Memphis, Tx. A host of relatives and friends who will forever treasure him.
Michael's last act of kindness was to those who will be touched by his life from this moment and the days ahead by offering new hope to others through the gift of organ donations.
