Graveside Services will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Shamrock Cemetery, Shamrock with Sherman Eastland, officiating. INTERMENT- Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock. ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock. BIOGRAPHY: Melvin A. Todd was born July 13, 1918 in Randlett, OK to Tom and Iva Pearl Pillers Todd. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II; flying 50 missions in the South Pacific. Melvin married Ruth Probst on May 15, 1946 in Shamrock. He worked as a pipe fitter for Local 196 for 30 years. Mr. Todd had lived in Shamrock for 34 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- His parents and two sisters; Lorene and Marcille. SURVIVORS: Wife – Ruth Todd – Shamrock 1 Son – Neil Todd – Shamrock 1 Daughter – Pennye Sue Williams – Houston 1 Brother – E.D. “Buck” Todd – Livingston 1 Sister – Sybil Atkinson - Wellington 1 Grandson – Matt Todd & Michelle 2 Great Grandchildren – Grace & Audrey
