SHAMROCK
GRAVESIDE SERVICES- 10:00 am Friday, May 25, 2012 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Rev. Randy Land officiating.
INTERMENT- Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Mrs. Bond was born October 17, 1922 to William Columbus and Elizabeth Howton Scruggs in Shamrock. She married Mendle Earl “John” Bond on December 19, 1942 in Shamrock. She had served as the Administrator at the Golden Spread Nursing Home in Shamrock as well as serving Wheeler County as Justice of the Peace in the Lela precinct. While working full time, Maulcie also operated Lee’s Tax Service for 30 years, where she retired from that just last year. She was an example of a Proverbs 31 woman and always had a giving spirit. She had spent the majority of her life in Shamrock, except for about four years that were spent in Lazbuddie. She was a Christian.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; her husband on May 3, 2009; a brother, J.C. Scruggs; and a sister Pur Stubie.
SURVIVORS - 2 sons, Sidney Bond and wife Sandy, Walter Bond and wife Brenda both of Shamrock; a sister Willabeth Askew; 2 grandchildren, Cole Bond, Christi Hardee; and 3 great grandchildren, Hayden and Hudson Hardee and Jonathan Brice Bond.
