Mary Lucille Hobbs, "GG" , age 95, passed away May 11, 2025 in Plano, TX.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Rev. Mark Howard, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Mary was born in Erick, Oklahoma on December 31, 1929 and grew up in Texola, Oklahoma. She met James Hobbs in 1946 and they were married January 18, 1948 at the Wheeler Baptist Church. They spent 55 years together in Shamrock, TX and raised identical twin daughters, Sharon Andrews and Karen Casey.
She was preceded in death by husband, James Hobbs; daughter, Karen Casey, parents, William Henry Perry Yarbrough and Minnie Herd; sisters, Elsie Moore, Edith Hinchey, and Vastalee Yarbrough; brother, John Yarbrough, and grandson, John Karl Gilmour.
She is survived by daughter, Sharon Andrews; two grandchildren, six great- grand children, and one great-great-granddaughter.
