Mary Ann Cunningham's Obituary
Mary Ann (Hunter) Cunningham, 83, of Shamrock, Texas passed away October 10, 2020.
She was born to Earl and Ola B Hunter on November 12, 1936 in Wellington, Texas. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1955. She worked as a telephone operator until she married Jimmie Keith Cunningham in 1956. They had three daughters.
She worked for several years as a Teacher’s Aid at Shamrock Elementary School. She was very talented in painting, stained glass and anything crafty that she tried. She loved cats and quite often had several stray cats around the house that she took care of. She was a Christian and a very devoted member of the church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters: Melanie King and husband Kevin of Shamrock Texas, Becky Henshaw and husband Todd of Tulsa Oklahoma and Patti Flowers and husband Cletis of Shamrock Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Marissa Stambaugh, Ethan King, Haley Henshaw, Mathew Flowers, McKenzie Sircy, Mollie Flowers and one great-grandchild Boswell Stambaugh. She is also survived by one cousin Steve Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Keith Cunningham, her parents Earl and Ola B Hunter and her only sibling Clifton Hunter.
Mary Ann will be buried in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wellington, Texas. Due to the concern of Covid-19, her family will be doing a memorial service at a later date.
