SHAMROCK
Services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the First Assembly of God, Shamrock with Rev. Z. A. Myers and Rev. Doris and Bob McCutchen officiating.
Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, TX.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Marvin Ferril was born July 25, 1932 in Holliday, TX to Bill and Myrtle Coe Ferril. He worked for General Motors from 1968 ~ 1989; in 1989 he moved to Shamrock. He served in the Air Force from 1951-1955 and received the Good Conduct Medal and the Medal of Defense He married Geraldine Bradley on June 2, 1952 and she preceded him in death on July 22, 2004. Marvin was a Deacon at Foursquare Church in Arlington for 7 years and a Deacon at First Assembly of God in Shamrock for 10 years. He married Barbara Clancy on January 8, 2005 in Shamrock.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gennell York.
SURVIVORS- Wife, Barbara Ferril of Shamrock; 2 Sons, Jerry Ferril of Shamrock and Barry Clancy & wife Misty of Memphis; 2 Daughters, Cathy Hawley & husband Robert of Oklahoma and Karen Reyna & husband Candy of Katy; 1 Brother, Lonnie Ferril & wife Sandy of Amarillo; 1 Niece, Penney Huff & husband Ricky of Amarillo, 1 Nephew, Byron Ferril & wife Laverna of Canyon; 2 Grandchildren, Toby Ferril and Kyra Henke & husband Josh; 12 Step-Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild, Landon Henke; 20 Step Great Grandchildren; 6 Step Great Great Grandchildren.
