McLEAN SERVICES- 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in the Robertson Funeral Directors Route 66 Chapel in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of McLean, officiating. INTERMENT- Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Mrs. Van Huss was born February 16, 1916 in McLean to Oscar and Lucy Robinson Riemer and had been a resident of McLean most of her life. She married George Perry Van Huss at Pampa and he preceeded her in death in 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of the McLean Church of Christ. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; her husband; 3 brothers, Oscar, Paul, and Otto Riemer; and 2 grandsons, Vandon Renfro and Cole Van Huss. SURVIVORS - 2 daughters, Sandra Renfro of Amarillo, Peggy Simpson of McLean; 3 sons, Calvin Van Huss of Del Valle, TX, Curtis Van Huss of Bixby, OK, Don Van Huss of Franklin, TX; 1 sister, Katherine Burk of Dallas; a sister in law, Margie Riemer of Pampa; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. MEMORIALS - The family requests that memorials be to Loaves & Fishes Ministry in McLean or the McLean Care Center Activity Fund.
