Mark Keith Hampton's Obituary
Mark Keith Hampton, of Wheeler, TX, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in Wheeler at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 24 days. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Cornerstone Church in Wheeler, with Justin Coleman officiating, assisted by Erron Mercer. Burial will follow at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors in Wheeler.
Mark was born October 27, 1965 in Shamrock, TX to the late Alvin Bill and Ethel Marie (Herd) Hampton. He lived in Wheeler his entire lifetime and began working on the family farm by the age of four. When he was not busy farming, Mark enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting and riding ATV’s. He also enjoyed spending time in Red River, NM. He dearly loved his family, welcoming his son, Dustin, in 1985 and his daughter, Heather, in 1987.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Bill Hampton and Ethel Hampton; one brother, Richard Hampton; and his sister-in-law, Suzanne Hampton.
Mark is survived by his son, Dustin Hampton and wife, Stephenie of Amarillo; his daughter, Heather Hampton of Austin, TX; two brothers, Larry Hampton and family of Wheeler and Steve Hampton and wife, Nancy and their family, of Wheeler; three step-grandchildren, Alaina, Lincoln and Colin; and numerous other family members and friends.
