SERVICES – 2:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2016 in The Chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Tom Anderson, officiating.
INTERMENT- Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Marie was born May 7, 1916 in Hall County to M.W. and Florence Paschall. She married Ernest Paul Mayhugh and he preceded her in death in 1978. She had been a school clerk prior to her retirement and had lived in the Houston area for 38 years and then moved to Garland in November 2004. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a honorary life member with the Texas congress of Parents and Teachers Association. She also volunteered with Cub Scouts & Lifeline Chapliancy Soft Touch Ministry, making pillows for the Houston Area Hospitals.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her husband; her sisters, Betty Sue Scott, Becky Bruce, and Irene Bryant; and her brothers, F.T. Paschall, Al Paschall, Raymond Paschall, Ike Paschall, and Gene Paschall.
SURVIVORS- her daughter, Joyce Denham and husband Wayne of Santa Fe, Texas; her son, Edward Mayhugh and wife Gayla of Garland; her sister, Willie Adams of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Susan Story and David Denham; 2 great grandchildren, Megan and Olivia; her step grandchildren, Kristen Roberts and Kimber Hazouri; and her step great grandchildren, Keely Moon, Kayden, and Cason; and many nieces and nephews.
