Maria Borden's Obituary
Maria L. Borden, 82, of Wheeler died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Wheeler.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Private family burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Maria was born December 26, 1938 to Rafael and Micaela Lopez. She was married to Ronald Borden. She had been a resident of Wheeler for 39 years and worked at Maxey's and the nursing home. She loved gardening, flowers, and being with her family and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2005; a son, Fernando Lopez; and a grandson, Joe Flores.
Survivors include her daughters, Lorena Flores and Karla Irwin both of Wheeler; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
