Margaret Helen Lamberson's Obituary
MEMORIAL SERVICES- 2:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2014 in the First United Methodist Church in Hedley with Rev. Rusty Early, officiating. Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Helen, 98, was born October 11, 1915 in Bowie, TX to Melvin and Estah Williams. She married J.T. Lamberson on May 1, 1933 in Bowie. They lived in Bowie, Vernon, Clarendon before moving to Pampa. While living in Pampa, she worked for J.C. Penney's and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. They retired and moved to Hedley in 1982 to live on their son's Ranch, 3 miles east of Hedley. While living in Hedley, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hedley, Hedley Lioness Club, and Hedley Senior Citizens. She was always first to step forward and help if needed. In January 2014 she moved to Caprock Nursing & Rehab in Borger to be closer to her granddaughter. A special thanks to Caprock Nursing & Rehab and Hospice Care of the Southwest for their loving care. She was preceded in death by her husband J.T. of 77 years; twin daughters, Oleta & Cleta; a grandson, Randall Lamberson; a sister, Betty Hix; a brother, Adrian Williams; and her parents. She is survived by her 2 sons, J.T. Lamberson, Jr. and wife Jacki of Pasadena, Texas and Buddy Lamberson and wife Alma of Hedley; 8 grandchildren, Juli Ward, Mike Lamberson, Lisa Willis, Joe Lamberson, Mike Cade, Denise Hixon, Stephenie Blankenship, and Sara Franco; 14 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family request memorials be sent to the Hedley United Methodist Church, Hedley Senior Citizens, Hedley Vol. Fire Dept., Caprock Nursing & Rehab, or Hospice Care of the Southwest.
