SERVICES- 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Calvary Christian Fellowship Church in Shamrock with Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating. INTERMENT- Erick Cemetery in Erick, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Manuel was born December 9, 1943 in Martindale to Jesusa and Manuel C. Cordova, Sr. He had been a resident of Shamrock most of his life and was a heavy equipment operator for James Reneau Seed Co. prior to his retirement. He was a hard working man that would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed target shooting. He was well known for his cowboy hat and his cologne. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; a brother, Rudy; and a sister, Estella. SURVIVORS- his son, Manuel Cordova, III of Shamrock; 2 daughters, Nancy and Letty Martinez both of Shamrock; 4 brothers, Art Cordova, Nate Cordova, Danny Cordova all of Shamrock, and Gilbert Cordova of Minnesota; a sister, Emma Cordova of Maxwell; and numerous grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews; MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
