SHAMROCK
GRAVESIDE SERVICES – 3:00 pm Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating.
INTERMENT – Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Betty was born September 16, 1928 in Hardy, Arkansas to John and Maggie Parks. She had been a resident of Shamrock since 1975. She loved to cook and was a great cook. She also enjoyed helping build trap and was a member of the Texas Trappers and Fur Hunters Association.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her first husband, Charlie Burt York; her late husband, Bill Turnbow; a son, Richard Irvin York; a brother, John Thomas Parks; and a great granddaughter, Laken Haley Deaton.
SURVIVORS – her son, Charles Ronald York of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; 3 step daughters, Peggy Teegarden and husband David of Eldorado, Illinois, Tammy Hanks and husband Jack of Shamrock, and Toni Kay Goss and husband Tommy of Amarillo; a daughter in law, Jaunita York of Elk City, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Harry Ray Parks of Jonesboro, Arkansas and James William Parks of Hardy, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
