M.B. Bolden's Obituary
M.B. Bolden, 92, of Groom died Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Amarillo.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 25, 2022 in the Groom Church of Christ with Darrel Henderson, officiating. Burial will follow in Groom Cemetery in Groom.
Viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 AM until service time at the Church.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
M.B. was born July 2, 1930 in Quail to Archie and Annie Hardy Bolden. He married Martha Jo Painter on November 18, 1950 in Hedley. He had been a resident of Groom for the past 68 years where he was a farmer. He was a lifetime member of the Pioneer Gun Club, and an excellent shooter. M.B. also enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the Groom Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon, fill in Minister, and song leader.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Martha Bolden of Groom; his daughters, Linda Fields and husband Ronny of Groom and Sandra Drum and husband Terry of Lubbock; a brother, Travis Bolden of Altus, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Shannon Fields of Leander, Kimberly Koetting and husband Mark of Groom, Roni Miller and husband Brady of Groom, Lonny Drum and wife Kimberley of Wiley, Alicia Trevey and husband Scott of Lubbock, and Amanda McAda and husband Josh of North Richland Hills; 10 great grandchildren, Mason Miller, Ginna Miller, Callie Richardson, Kailey Drum, Kayton Trevey, Jake Trevey, Logan Drum, Jase McAda, Matthew Trevey, and Jett McAda.
