I am so sorry for your loss. May God bring you comfort.
Mr. Messer taught my Granddaughter in Hedley High. He was an awesome teacher and showed interest in his students. It was a pleasure to have known him. Our prayers are with his family.
Lyndon was such a good friend and coworker! Pam Neely and I went with Lyndon and our children on their Senior trip! He was always a gentleman and a character too! We will all miss him. The Longan's
Mr. Messer was my favorite teacher, hands down. When I won a scholarship my senior year for UIL I was asked to give the name of the teacher who influenced my life the most so that they might be presented with an award- Mr. Messer was it. Mr. Messer got up early every morning during the school year to meet me at 7 so we could go over the daily newspapers together. He's push for me to do my best was the reason we went to state in current events and even more the reason that we won. He was an amazing person and his dedication to his students and teaching went above and beyond.
Mr. Messer was my HS and JH history teacher at Hedley. He was so very intelligent. I was always amazed at how much he knew. He never read lessons from a textbook, teacher's edition or anything like that, he just knew it all in his mind. He was a great asset to our community and to the school. He was invested in his student's lives and will be greatly missed. I am so blessed to have had him teach me.
