Lurlene was a very dear friend of the family and will be greatly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
Aunt Lurlene was a very special person. It was a blessing for my grandma Isaacs that Lurlene and Coy lived next door. I spent a couple of weeks each summer at grandma’s so got to spend time with them. After I was older, I often was able to stop for a while and visit Lurlene when I made a trip to Amarillo. Lurlen always had a big smile and her eyes would light up as she told me about her most recent visit with Diane and her family. Thank you, Joe Jett for calling me when Lurlene passed away, and then calling to tell me when the services were scheduled. I will not be there but will be saying a prayer for Lurlene, her family and friends. Thank you Mary Galbreth for being a friend that was there for her. Don’t believe I ever met you, unless you are Burl’s little sister.
I had a great time growing with my Jett cousins. It is with happy memories I relive some of times in my life that I shared with Lurlene. I know that she has passed on to a greater place - but this old world is a wonderful place. Rest in Peace, Lurlene
