Lucille Pike's Obituary
SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the First Baptist Church in Shamrock with Rev. Mark Howard, officiating.
INTERMENT: Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Lucille was born June 26, 1933 in New Summerfield, Texas to Vesta Henry and Ona Hazel Richardson. She married Nolan James Pike on May 16, 1953 in Twitty. She had been a resident of Shamrock most of her life and had worked at C.R. Anthony’s for several years. She loved, crocheting, sewing, gardening, cooking, hunting arrowheads, singing, and her grandkids. She also had volunteered as a Girl Scout leader. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shamrock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, on March 15, 2009; and a sister, Lillian Boykin.
Survivors: 3 daughters, Cathy Hill and husband Ronnie of Canadian, Christy Olson and husband Lewis of Port Allen, Louisiana, and Cindy Hoover and husband Gerry of Cotopaxi, Colorado; a sister, Gwendolyn Sims and husband Kenneth of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
