CLARENDON SERVICES - 2:00 pm on Monday, April 19, 2010 in the First Baptist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Lance Wood, Pastor, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mrs. Taylor was born April 10, 1922 in Marsden, Oklahoma to George Washington and Margaret Elizabeth Wyatt Wood. She had been a lifetime resident of Clarendon. She married George Park Taylor on July 24, 1948 in Clarendon. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1993. She had worked much of her life in local restaurants and cafes prior to her retirement. She was a very caring, charitable person who contributed to many charitable causes. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon. SURVIVORS - one daughter, Nancy Taylor of Clarendon; one son, Glenn Taylor of Corinth, Texas; one sister, Dupree Augusta Linsteadt of Dennison; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. MEMORIALS - Susan B. Komen Cancer Foundation.
