SERVICES - 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2006 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Garmon, Pastor, officiating.
INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery
Mrs. Shadle was born in Wise Co., Texas to Franz Joseph and Delia Bridget Conner Koeninger. She married Thomas Marvin Shadle on May 16, 1923 in Wise County. She, her husband, and infant daughter moved to Donley County in 1925. After a brief stint of moving from one oil field to another, including Borger, they settled back in Donley County where they farmed and ranched for over 60 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - a son, Joseph Marvin Shadle on August 11, 1968, her husband on August 3, 1988, and a son in law, Ray Pittman on June 17, 2005.
SURVIVORS - one daughter, LaRue Shadle Pittman of Amarillo; 2 grandsons, James Dennis Shadle and wife Susie, and Joe Neal Shadle and wife Raenell all of Clarendon; 2 granddaughters, Cheryl Shadle Fox of Canyon and Barbara Shadle Williams of Clarendon; 12 great grandchildren; and 19 great great grandchildren.
