The family is in my thoughts and prayers. Ms Louisa was a beautiful lady and friend. I first came to know Ms Louisa when I went to work at the nursing home in Clarendon as a aide. She was always dressed in the white dress uniform. Always looking very professional. Then after graduation from LVN school I had the pleasure of learning from Ms Louisa. To this day I remember the things that she taught me to do.
She will be missed however heaven is celebrating at this time. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
El-Ray and Kenny.......YOUR mom was one in a million........she worked for my father Dr. Witt at the Groom Memorial Hospital way back in the 70's.......I use to tag along with my dad as he made his rounds and I was introduced to your mom....and what an introductiion my father gave of YOUR mother.......as time went by I thought of your mother as a kind...thoughtful....and VERY protective mother of "HER BOYS".....when I was a sophomore football player...AND a starter for the Groom Tigers.....Louisa walked up to me one Thursday and said....Groom is scrimmaging Clarendon tomorrow....and "DON'T YOU HURT MY LITTLE KENNY".....I remember saying YES MA'AM......but if HE is around me I WILL tackle him........"Little Kenny" ran OVER...AROUND and THROUGH us ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!.....when I saw her the next week......she thanked me for not "hurting her little Kenny"........Mothers are special people with special powers.....and Louisa was one with those special "powers" of loving and caring for the sick......I was always in awe of her love for her profession......May God bless you in these days of grief.....and may you find comfort in the sense that your mother is...was and...shall be always be remembered by the Witt family!!!!

Louisa was such a lovely lady who loved her faith and her family more than anything. Her smile and laughter were contagious. When I met her, it was as though we had been friends forever. Rest In Peace and know you made a beautiful difference in this world.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Ms. Louisa's family. She was one of the greatest nurses I had the pleasure to work with. Her compassion and love of nursing was an inspiration to those who knew her and had the good fortune to work with her.Not only was Ms. Louisa a co-worker she was also my friend. Heaven just got another beautiful angel.

Louisa was a huge influence in my life. She used to French braid my hair for me and taught me to braid my own hair. She was the perfect Definition of a Nurse. She always had Starched White Dress uniforms, her hair was always perfect and she wore her Nursing cap with pride. She taught me many things about being a Nurse, and about Life in general. She was an inspiration to me and will always be my Hero. I was fortunate to see her again about a year ago, and we I had the opportunity to laugh and reminisce. I am sorry for your loss of this beautiful woman but know that she is now free and setting with Jesus. I also know that Louisa is getting someone lined out and getting things straightened up for those of us that will follow. I will always love and respect this beautiful lady. I will honor and cherish her memory and carry her with me in my heart.
