SERVICES – 2:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2015 in the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Kirk Watson, officiating.
INTERMENT – Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Lou was born October 7, 1926 in Vashti to J.E. and Katie Marie Johnson White. She married Lester Myers on February 11, 1949 in Clarendon. She had been a teacher for 38 years and taught at Lelia Lake, Quail, Austin, and Amarillo prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her husband, on March 25, 2013; and 2 brothers.
SURVIVORS – 2 sons, Terry Myers and wife Wendy and Jimmy Myers all of Amarillo; a daughter, Kathy Myers of Amarillo; a brother, Boyd White of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Margaret Hansard of Barstow, CA, Tena Mooring of Tyler, Betty Franklin, of Ajo, Arizona, and Winnie Bivins, of Olney; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon or Citizens Cemetery Association.
