Loretta Iva Morrison's Obituary
Loretta Iva Morrison, 91, of St. Cloud, Florida, formerly of Hall County died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Kissimmee, Florida.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in The Chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Rev. Jeff Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Robertson Funeral Directors in Memphis from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Loretta was born June 8, 1927 in Memphis to Geter and Lela Beaty Johnson. She married Travis Leon Morrison on June 9, 1952 in Quitaque. She had been a longtime resident of Hall County from 1967-2005, resident of Dallas for 5 years, and has been a resident of St. Cloud, Florida the past 8 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Estelline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1988; a son, Donald Powell; a daughter, Yvonne Rankin; a daughter in law, Linda Jones; 2 brothers, Wayne and Leroy Johnson; and 2 sisters, Ruby Woods and Irene Jouett.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Jerry Morrison and husband Jimmy Grossman of St. Cloud, Florida, and Gary Morrison of Childress; a brother, L.C. Johnson of Memphis; 4 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
