SERVICES – 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Memphis with Rev. Bobby Wilson, officiating.
INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Linda was born October 11, 1946 in Abilene to Lloyd and Lorene Davis Miller. She married Michael Shayne Branigan on July 2, 1966 in Memphis. Linda was a clerk for TDCJ and worked for many years in the family business at Branigan’s Jewerly in Memphis prior to her retirement. She was a Girl and Boy Scout leader. Linda was a member of the Red Hatters Society, B & PW, Beta Sigma Phi, and the Memphis Little Theater. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and where she was a United Methodist Youth Sponsor. She loved traveling, family vacations, and her favorite spot was Cozumel. The family would like to send a special thanks to Childress Regional Medical Center Home Health and BSA Wound Care for their loving care.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her brother, Tommy Miller; and her sister, Barbara Hopper.
SURVIVORS – her husband, Mike Branigan of Memphis; a daughter, Michelle Branigan of Memphis; a son, Shayne Branigan and wife Angela of Jacksboro; 8 grandchildren, Michaela Lee Torres and husband Jeremias and Savannah Lee all of Lubbock, Jessica Lee of Memphis, Maddi Bryant of Childress, Hannah, Liam, and Abbey Branigan all of Jacksboro; her caregiver, Courtney Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.
MEMORIALS- The family request that memorials be sent to the Preservation Foundation in Memphis or the First United Methodist Church in Memphis.
