Linda Parker Bates, of Fletcher, OK, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 in Fletcher at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 26 days. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe, TX, with Rodney McCaleb officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Linda was born on July 27, 1946 in Hereford, TX to the late Claude and Blanche (Echols) Parker. She was raised in Allison, TX. Linda married Clyde Paul Bates in Allison in 1964. He preceded her in death in 2005. She loved the outdoors and her family. Linda also loved her animals and was a very humble and compassionate lady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Blanche Parker; husband, Clyde Bates; and her brother, Larry Parker.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Bates and wife, Terri, of Fletcher, OK; 2 granddaughters, Melissa Bates of Fletcher, OK and Kimber Davis and husband, Jarod, of Amarillo, TX; 3 great grandsons; and her sister-in-law, Judy Parker, of Pampa, Texas.
