I was so sorry to hear of Leta 's passing! We connected on line about 16 years ago when i found my 2nd great grandmother, Eliza, was sister to her great grandmother Harriet!
I tracked down the other siblings and shared that with Leta which was included in her masterful book which she kindly attributed to me.
We had many discussions about genealogy and Bentley family connections and research.
I had just written her in late December to tell her about the new John Bentley discovery but never heard backi.
She was a diligent researcher the old fashioned way before on line! She knew her stuff and was more than willing to share and dig for others. She shared much of her family's history with me since the rest of the family stayed where i live and harriet had moved west.
I will miss our discussions and sharing a great deal.
