Lee was born on May 13, 1949, in Quantico, Virginia to Kendrick Burton Saulnier and Dorothy Helen Saulnier, nee Phillips. After her parents divorced Lee lived with her mom and two sisters in Southern California. Lee often went by her middle name of Page as she was not fond of her first name. She completed schooling with two AA Degrees in Business and Accounting which she used in her own business after retirement from the Postal Service.
Lee heard the gospel at the age of twenty-seven. On April 6, 1976, Lee gave her life to Jesus. Her mother came to the Lord a year later, then her children and grandchildren in time came to the same knowledge and surrendered to the Lord. Lee always said it was simple, “Trust and Obey. It really is the only way.”
Lee was an avid reader and loved to study her bible. She was someone who always asked questions and she believed she could learn anything if only she was taught. She loved all animals, but her favorite was the cats which she surrounded herself with. Lee was a supporter of the less fortunate and desired to help the needy. She had two daughters. From these two beautiful daughters, she was blessed beyond measure with two beloved grandchildren.
Lee retired from the US Postal Service in June of 2004 after serving 35 years in various positions. She moved to Shamrock Texas upon the leading of the Holy Spirit and lived there until her death.
After her first retirement, Lee began her own business of Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation. She worked 17 years as a bookkeeper for M&M Sales and Service in Shamrock Texas until her second retirement on December 31, 2021. Lee was always interested in ministering to those who did not have the ability to prepare their taxes. She knew her ability was a gift from God, and she wanted to use it for his Kingdom.
Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy McAvay; stepfather, Robert McAvay; sister, Patricia Jeffries; stepbrother, Robert McAvay Jr,; and her Father, Kendrick Burton.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristine Marie Williams and husband Jim, of Tempe, AZ and Michele Lee Brown of Shamrock TX and fiancé Mark Holdorf of Ellsworth, WI; her grandchildren, Charlie Saulnier and Quinton Brown Stevens and husband Shawn Stevens of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister, Linda Frost; several nieces and nephews; a stepbrother; and her once son-in-law and still considered to be family to her, Quinton Dale Brown of Tahlequah, OK.
