FUNERAL SERVICES – 10:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2016 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey officiating.
INTERMENT – will be in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
BIOGRAPHY- Labrada was born August 17, 1921 in Claremont, Texas to Juan and Paula Marquez Nevarez. She married Louis Contreras on August 7, 1937 in Aspermont, Texas. Labrada was a homemaker and absolutely loved her family and cooking for them. She lived for and greatly loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Labrada lived the past 16 years in Hollis, Oklahoma and in Childress prior. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Amarillo.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her husband, Louis Contreras, on March 10, 2005; 3 sons, Francisco Contreras, Davis Contreras, and Emilio Contreras; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
SURVIVORS – 6 sons, Joe Contreras and Chon Contreras, both of Childress, Alex Contreras and wife Kathylue of Sourlake, TX, Paul Contreras and wife Beverly of Bartlesville, Ok, Delfeno Contreras of Amarillo, and Randy Contreras and wife Cathy of Amarillo; 4 daughters, Rose Sofge and husband H.D. of Childress, Josie Estrada and husband Victor of Wylie, Dora Martinez and husband Steve of Hollis, Ok, and Sylvia Gonzales and husband Jim of Wylie; 3 sisters, Natividad and Augstina, both of Lubbock, and Ernestina of California; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
