I don't recall ever meeting Laura but I know a lot of folks all around her and she had to be special. I have an idea our music may have touched her along the way . . . I sure hope so. Rest In Peace Laura.
We were so very sad to hear of Laura's passing. Our hearts go out to all of the family and we are keeping you in constant prayer asking God to wrap his arms tightly around you to carry you through this time.

I am a School based Occupational Therapist who first met Laura in 2004. We hit off immediately, as she treated me as someone who belonged with her staff and her students, not as the new therapist. We soon found out we were both one of "Jerry's Kids" and that forged our bond even more. I have had the privilege of serving kids in 28 different school districts both large and small in Texas and Oklahoma. I have worked side by side with some great Special Education Teachers, but bar none Laura was the greatest!! The programs she developed along with the effort and love she poured into each and every kid she served was amazing! It was very evident that Laura loved her family even more, as she talked of you all with a gleam in her eye! Laura will be missed by all who knew her who knew her, but it was truly a an honor to have known her, as she made this world a better place. God bless you all - Paul Estes
