SHAMROCK
SERVICES – 11:00 am Monday, January 14, 2013 in the First Baptist Church in Shamrock with Rev. Jeff Messer and Rev. Thacker Haynes, officiating.
INTERMENT – Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangments are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Launa was born December 17, 1925 in Caro, West Virginia to Asa and Bessie Null Michael. She married Leon Odell Cain in 1959. She had been a LVN working in Pampa, Groom, and Shamrock hospitals prior to her retirement. She had been a resident of Groom before moving to Shamrock in 1976. Her passion was the First Baptist Church in Shamrock where she was an active member and dearly loved her church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her husband; 3 brothers, M.E. Michael, Orvile “Red” Michael, and Kenneth Michael; and a sister, Grela Decker.
SURVIVORS – 2 daughters, Lee Ann Macina Cable and husband Milton of McLean and Dawn Jester of San Marcos; a son, Danny Hill and wife Joan of Chittenango, NY; 7 grandchildren, Nathan Macina, Haley Macina, Adam Jester, Lacy Jester, Steven Hill, Lucas Hill, and Emily Hill; 5 great grandchildren, Garrett, Derek, Mason, Sophia, and Liam.
Viewing/Visitation will be held from Noon to 6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home in McLean.
Viewing/Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Shamrock starting at 9:30 am Monday.
MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be sent to the McLean Care Center Activity Fund.
