INTERMENT – 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley with Stan Leffew, officiating.

Larry Eugene Crump was lifted from the physical bond of this earth and into the presence of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior on December 23, 2016. Larry was born June 28, 1944 to Virgil Morris and Raydell Thomas Hagood Crump at Bagota, Texas. He graduated from Hedley High School in May 1962. Larry married the love of his life, Dolores Messer in April 1963. They have a son, Larry Eugene Crump, Jr. and a daughter, Charla Annell Crump. Larry worked for GTE Telephone. They sold to Verizon and worked until his retirement in June 1994. Larry really loved to calf rope as a young man. Then he took up team roping and taught not only his son and daughter but several young men how to rope as well. Larry lived to spend time with his family and helping them any way he could. His grandchildren were the light of his life when Tray, Wesley, Tyler and Destiny were born. Larry believed in Christ as his Lord and Savior and lived by the golden rule to help those in need. He carried to doctor appointments and helped out in any way he could.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; and his oldest brother, Virgil Ray Crump.
SURVIVORS – his wife, Dolores Crump of Clarendon; his son, Larry Crump, Jr. and wife Londa of Lelia Lake; a daughter, Charla Crump of Clarendon; a brother, Morris Crump and wife Linda of Clarendon; a sister, Paulette Crump of Hedley; 4 grandchildren, Tray and wife Heather, Destiny, Wesley, and Tyler; 2 great grandchildren, Jack and Emmalynn.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to Rowe Cemetery Association, Community Fellowship Church, Gideons International, Kindred Hospice, Donley County Sr. Citizens, or a favorite charity.
