Kenneth Edward Killingsworth's Obituary
Kenneth Edward Killingsworth, 94, of Shamrock, Texas died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in Shamrock, Texas.
Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, November 30, 2024 in the First Baptist Church in Shamrock with Rev. Mark Howard, officiating. Burial will follow in Kelton Cemetery in Kelton.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Kenneth was born June 2, 1930 in Erick, Oklahoma to Edward and Pauline Hill Killingsworth. He had been a lifelong resident of Wheeler County where he was a cotton farmer prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, watching gunsmoke, but most of all he enjoyed his time with family. Kenneth was a member of First Baptist Church in Shamrock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Carroll Killingsworth; and a granddaughter, Diana Ruth Killingsworth.
Survivors include his son, David Killingsworth and wife Robbie of Duncan, Oklahoma; his daughters, Sharon Graves and husband Ralph of Clarendon and Tracey Fisher and husband Alan of Sayre, Oklahoma; his step daughters, Paula Land and husband Cleo and Becky Ostendorp and husband Tom; a brother, Jerry Killingsworth and wife Barbara of Madill, Oklahoma; a sister, Paula Welty and husband Marvin of Hereford; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to the Kelton Volunteer Fire Department.
