SERVICES - Graveside with Military Honors at 10:00 am on Friday, September 7, 2007, at Claude Cemetery in Claude, with Rev. Jess Little, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Claude, officiating.
BURIAL- Claude Cemetery
Mr. Johnston was born February 16, 1934 to Ray Nobel and Ilie Roberson Johnston in Bluffdale, Texas. Kenneth served in the US Navy in the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Moose Lodge. He was a resident of Claude & Amarillo most of his life. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was also a Christian.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; 2 brothers; & 2 sisters.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE- one daughter, Cheryl Stephenson and husband Tony of Claude; one son, Lynn Johnston and wife Holly of Amarillo; 3 sisters, Katie Gaither of Odessa, Mary Christian of Dublin, & Geneva Hall of Claude; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
MEMORIALS - The family requests memorials be to Claude ISD Memorial Scholarship Fund / P.O. Box 209 / Claude, Texas 79019.
THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING.
VISITATION WILL BE HELD FROM 11am-6pm THURSDAY AT CLAUDE.
