Kenneth Richard "Rick" Brinson's Obituary
Kenneth Richard "Rick" Brinson, 65, of Memphis died Friday, July 15, 2022 in Amarillo.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the First United Methodist Church in Memphis with Dr. Stan Cosby, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Rick was born January 5, 1957 in Groom to Kenneth William and Dorothy Ann Castleberry Brinson. He is a 1976 graduate of Hedley High School. He married Connie Sue Fowler on October 29, 1977 in Memphis, Texas. He had been a resident of Memphis for 44 years. Rick was in the trucking business for 30 plus years. He loved his family dearly and he enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Memphis where he was chairman of trustees, church leader, and started the men's weekly coffee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Sue Brinson of Memphis; his sons, Homer Brinson of Memphis and Chris Brinson and wife Celeste of Clinton, Oklahoma; two brothers, Mark Brinson of Hedley and Keith Brinson of Balko, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kamry, Emma, Hattie Jean, and Barrett Tate; his sisters in law, Tammy Brinson and Tracie Brinson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family request memorials be sent to First United Methodist Church in Memphis.
