Kelly Rieken's Obituary
Kelly Rieken, 63, of Memphis died Monday, September 28, 2020 in Memphis.
Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 1, 2020 in the Memphis Church of Christ with Mark Lance, officiating. Burial will follow in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Kelly was born April 13, 1957 in Midland to Donald and Doris Rieken. He had been a resident of Hall County most of his life. Kelly was a farmer and loved farming. He also was a longtime member of the Memphis Volunteer Fire Department and served as an EMT for Hall County EMS for 14 years. He married Vickie Myers January 22, 2000 in Memphis. He liked telling jokes and dearly loved his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Timothy Rieken.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Rieken of Memphis; a son, Kevin Jones of Amarillo; his daughters, Patty Whisler of Borger, Candy Rieken of Childress, Casie Johnson of Canyon, and Madison Rieken of Amarillo; his brothers, Shane Rieken of Claude and Tony Rieken of Columbia, Missouri; his sister, Donna Faye Rieken of Arkansas; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to the Memphis Volunteer Fire Department or the Memphis Church of Christ.
