Kathleen was born on November 21, 1944 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Richard and Dorothy Reed Lucas. She graduated from Warren High School in 1963. She attended Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA. Later she studied to become a psychiartic technician at Rio Honda Junior College in Whittier, CA. Kathy then attended Dominguez Hills University in Carson, CA where she graduated with a degree in Drug and Alcohol counseling. She moved to Shamrock in November 2013 to be close to her daughter.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; and her brother Michael Lucas in 2001.
SURVIVORS – her daughter, Lisa Schechter and husband Bill of Shamrock; her grandchildren, Robert Hines, Shawn Hines and wife Samantha of Reno, NV, Amanda Chandler and husband Philip of Shamrock, Billy Schechter and wife Harley of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Nette Midgley and husband Jon of Wheeler; 4 great grandchildren, Ayden, Audri, Jonah, and Alex; and a sister, Dawn Jewel of Oregon.
