McLEAN SERVICES – No services are planned. Cremation and arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Karran was born April 9, 1953 in Clinton, Oklahoma to George Luther and Oma Eunice Elizabeth Whaley Wilson. Karran moved with her mother, Oma, and her sister, Margie, to McLean from Erick, OK in 1965. They worked at the Marie Foundation factory, and she attended and graduated from McLean High School in 1971. She married Randy Jones in 1971, and they later divorced. Karran would eventually move to Amarillo in about 1979. She worked various jobs in Amarillo, many as a waitress, and did the best she could to raise her children, along with the loving help of her mother, Oma and her sisters Margie and Verna. Years later she would be briefly married to John Remlinger, now deceased. In 2007, Karran moved to McLean Care Center. She spent the remaining years of her life in the gentle, conscientious, loving care of those attending her there, and made many true friends, and passed in peace. Karran will be remembered by those who love her by the sparkle in her eyes and the dimples in her cheeks, by her wit, her beauty and above all, her bravery.
