I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Karen was Jessica's kindergarten teacher and everyday I would hear..."but Ms. Simmoms said". Jessica absolutely adored her. She was a lovely lady and I know will be missed by many.
JEM and family,I remember when Mrs. Simmons first came to Clarendon. I was in her first class at CISD-third grade to be exact. She came after school had already begun for the year. I remember playing tennis with her and JEM "showing up" and the fun that was had. She continued to share her sweet smile through the years and I know has brought many precious memories to you all. To Mrs. Simmons family- Just wanted to say how much your Mother/wife will be missed!! She was my Kindergarten teacher and if I remember right, it was her first year to teach. She was so nice. Some years later, I went from being her kindergarten student to her babysitter. Elizabeth, I believe you were the only one I kept. Now you all are grown up and will have families soon yourselves!!! Karen was such a wonderfully talented lady and we have such great memories working with her and the girls. She fought a long, hard battle and now has won! We know she left a big vacancy in your lives, and we are praying for your peace. May God be with you.
