I always considered aunt June my 2nd mom when we visited Texas after our long drives down from Connecticut. Lynda & I always left mom and dad at grandmas and lived with aunt June and our cousins and George would go to aunt Margaret’s. Many wonderful trips and memories of our trips to Texas. Love & prayers to our cousins. We all will miss her. So glad that last summer’s trip to Texas with my husband that we were able to spend some time with susie and aunt June. Too much time passes through our lives and it goes by too fast. Uncle harry, Susie, billy, grandma and all her brothers and sisters I’m sure welcomed her home and probably having such great conversations catching up. We will always luv you aunt June 🙏🙏🙏😘😘😘💐💐💐
I first met her when I was a brash teenager. She kept smiling at me but not speaking. Later, she confided to my mother, Edith, that she hadn't understood what I said, because I talked to fast, bu.t smiled so I would get offended.
There are so many memories of this precious lady. We loved her dearly. We spent many Langley reunions at Quail ,Texas. Her and Mom (Vera Havens) hung around the kitchen and helped everyone. Lots of fun and family times. Gus & Lois Havens
I know Heaven gained an angel. Family Reunion won’t be the same. June will be so missed. Love and prayers to you all at this difficult time.
