Juanita Kay Boydston's Obituary
Juanita Kay Boydston, 69, of Allison, TX passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in Canadian, TX.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Allison, TX, with Bro. Ben Corbett officiating, assisted by Bro. Dale Sanford and Bro. Nathan Carrington. Burial will follow at Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe, TX.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Juanita was born on October 24, 1953 in Wheeler, TX to the late Willie and Opal May Brown Boydston. She was the youngest of five children and was the only daughter. Juanita attended Allison ISD schools and graduated in 1972. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and considered church her dearest hobby. She was a youth Sunday School teacher and was a song leader for many years. She also enjoyed attending most community gatherings. Over the years, Juanita worked by serving others through various jobs. She babysat, worked at the Capital Review Newspaper in Allison, sat with and cared for ladies in the community and cleaned homes.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifton Wayne Boydston, Curtis Ray Boydston and Willie Vance Boydston; two nieces, Gaitha Boydston and Wanda Boydston Walker; and two nephews, Adam Martin and Jeffery Boydston.
Survivors include one brother, Forrest Glen Boydston of Claremore, OK; numerous other family members and her prayer group friends, both Methodist and Baptist.
The family requests that memorials be made to the United Pentecostal Church in Allison, TX.
