Joy Conner Tonguet, 94, of Shamrock, died Monday, December 26, 2022 in Shamrock.
Graveside Services will be Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Shamrock Cemetery, Shamrock, with Jay Tyree, Shamrock Church of Christ, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Joy was born January 18, 1928 in Wolfe City, Texas to Edwin Joseph and Katherine Pipes Conner. She married O. T. Tonguet in 1968 and he preceded her in death in 1997. Joy had lived in Shamrock since an infant. She worked many years for Mahnken Drug in Shamrock and Kay’s Grocery. She attended First Christian Church and later the Shamrock Church of Christ. Joy was a member of the Red Hatters Association when they were active in Shamrock.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five brothers and four sisters.
Joy is survived by 4 nephews and 4 nieces.
