HEDLEY
MEMORIAL SERVICES- 10:30 am Saturday, December 3, 2011 in the First United Methodist Church in Hedley with Rev. Darrell Burton, Chaplain of Hospice Care of the Southwest, officiating.
INTERMENT- Private Burial was in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Johnnie Lee Lund, 64, longtime resident of Hedley passed away November 27, 2011 at the Memphis Convalescent Home.
Johnnie was born December 7, 1946 in Amarillo, Texas to John and Mildred Lund. He attended elementary school in Hedley and being from a military family he attended many schools across the country. He graduated from high school in Houma, Louisiana.
Johnnie was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war, worked in the shipyards of Norfolk, Virginia, and on road construction for many years.
He was preceded in death by his mother; father; brother Harry Dwight Lund; and stepfather, L.J. Fontenot.
He is survived by his children Jason, Cynthia, Johnnie, Emory, Tiffany of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and many cousins and friends from Hedley.
The family wishes to express thanks to the Memphis Convalescent Home and Hospice Care of the Southwest for the tender and loving care given to Johnnie during his last days.
