John Henry Ferkins Jr. was born on May 3, 1955 to John Henry ferkins Sr. and Pauline Marie Smith in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. He spent most of his early years of life as a truck driver and then became a jack of all trades in construction. He also spent close to 8 years working at Elk City RV doing maintenance repairs.
John passed away September 17, 2020 in Wheeler, Texas.
He is survived by his son in law and daughter Terry and Summer Lummus of White Oak Texas. Their four children, Zach Lummus of San Diego, California, Madison Lummus of Tyler, Texas, Ryan and Jaydan Zimmerman of white Oak, Texas. his son John Henry Ferkins III of Weatherford, Oklahoma and his two daughters Hunter and Hartlynn. Daughter Leslie Ferkins of San Antonio, Texas. Brother in law and sister Wayne and Donna Durke of North Claredon, Vermont. Sister Cyndi Deela of Wilburton, Oklahoma. Frank (Butch) Holliman of Weatherford, Oklahoma. Brother and sister in law Danny and Brenda Ferkins of Burns Flat, Oklahoma. Special cousins Sharon and Rick Pogue, Gene Loudermilk, and Pat Morris all of Oklahoma City, OKlahoma.
He is preceded in death by his father John Henry Ferkins Sr., mother Pauline Marie Holliman, daughter Winter Eve Ferkins, Brother Phillip Holliman, sister Debra Mayjoffo and sister Lisa Hanson.
